Accident prevention regulations - UVV

The UVV represent binding obligations for every company and every person insured under statutory accident insurance with regard to safety and health protection at work. The professional associations as providers of statutory accident insurance specify fixed time intervals for the inspection periods.

Our service team carries out the annual UVV inspection of all press makes on site, including inspection of non-contact protective devices (BWS) in accordance with the applicable EN directive.

The following is checked and documented, among other things:

• Risk of intervention during the dangerous closing movement (protection against stepping behind, etc.)
• After-run/after-run time
• Effectiveness of protective field, movable shields, etc.
• Safety distance
• Two-hand functionality
• Faultless functioning of all safety components
