Minimize wear, prevent downtime
Regular maintenance is the best insurance against unplanned production downtime. We take a holistic view of your systems and ensure maximum service life for your presses through professional inspection and care.
Here we answer the questions we are asked most frequently. Should you have any further questions, we look forward to hearing from you.
Purely reactive maintenance, where repairs are only carried out once something has broken, almost always leads to unplanned production downtime, expensive urgent spare parts orders and, in the worst case, irreversible consequential damage to costly main components such as the hydraulic pump or cylinder.
Through planned preventive maintenance, we identify wear, for example on seals or guides, at an early stage. Wear parts are replaced in a coordinated manner during production-free periods, which maximizes machine availability and drastically reduces total operating costs (TCO).
According to the requirements of the occupational insurance associations and DIN 20066, it is recommended that hydraulic hoses be replaced after 6 years, including a maximum storage period of 2 years.
For increased requirements – such as multi-shift operation, extreme pressure peaks or strong external influences, including heat and chemicals – this period is drastically reduced. In such cases, intervals of no more than 2 years are often appropriate in order to reliably prevent dangerous hose bursts during operation.
No, we offer you full flexibility without rigid contract terms or monthly flat rates. The most economical and most frequently used method among our customers is the combination of statutory UVV inspection and professional maintenance.
Since our experts are already at your press for the annual UVV inspection, regular maintenance work such as filter changes, oil checks or readjustment of guides can be carried out at the same time. This saves you duplicate travel costs, minimizes machine downtime to an absolute minimum and, in the end, you only pay transparently for the actual labour and material required.
