Flexibility directly in your production hall

Your production requirements have changed, but transporting the press is not possible for operational reasons? We bring the workshop to you. We carry out conversions and modernizations directly at your site.

  • Retrofitting of safety equipment, e.g. ram locks
  • Optimization and conversion of hydraulic and control systems
  • Adaptation of presses to new tools or changed processes
  • Get in touch: We will find a customized solution for your problem on site.

Your questions,
our answers

Here we answer the questions we are asked most frequently.
Should you have any further questions, we look forward to hearing from you.

We implement almost the entire range of retrofits and optimization directly on site at your premises in order to minimize transport costs and downtime. This includes conversion to energy-efficient servo-hydraulics, renewal of outdated control cabinets and PLC controllers, integration of modern safety components such as light grids and two-hand control panels, as well as mechanical overhaul of wear parts.

Every conversion follows a precise project plan to keep downtime in your production as short as possible:

  • Preparation phase: The new control system, control cabinets or hydraulic units are fully pre-assembled and tested in advance in our workshop.
  • Disassembly & on-site assembly: Our team arrives at your premises on the agreed date, dismantles the old components and installs the new systems.
  • Commissioning & training: After successful assembly, signal tests, final commissioning, safety validation (overrun measurement) and instruction of your operating and maintenance personnel are carried out.

Depending on the complexity of the conversion, the actual on-site downtime is usually around 3–4 weeks.

For the conversion itself, all we need in advance is free access to the press, sufficient crane or forklift capacity for heavy components, for example if units or cylinders are being replaced, and access to media connections such as electricity and compressed air.

We clarify all specific details – such as the required space for our tool trolleys, foundation inspections for performance increases or the coordination of welding and grinding work as part of fire protection – in detail in advance during a joint site inspection. You do not need to worry about the technical implementation of the conversion yourself.
